Our Classes

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a contact combat sport that blends techniques from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing, Muay Thai and Wrestling enabling you to both strike and grapple with your opponent whilst standing and on the ground.

Muay Thai

Muay Thai or literally Thai boxing is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the “art of eight limbs” as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.

Boxing

Boxing is one of the oldest, most efficient and most popular combat sports, dating back to the 12th century. You use footwork, balance, strategy, head movement, defensive skills and an array of punches to hit whilst hopefully minimising the chances of getting hit yourself.

MMA

Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full-contact combat sport that allows striking and grappling, both standing and on the ground, encompasses disciplines from various martial arts and Olympic sports, such as boxing, kick-boxing, karate, jiu-jitsu, muay thai, tae kwon do, wrestling and judo.

Wrestling

Wrestling is one of the oldest forms of combat dating back to the first Olympic Games. Wrestling is a key discipline to learn and is a critical part of the transition from stand-up fighting to grappling. Techniques used here can be blended with moves from BJJ and Muay-Thai.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that revolves around grappling and ground fighting. Most of the techniques focus on taking your opponent to the ground where you can control and work to submit them.  The Gracie family is prominent for their development of BJJ.

“Epic! If you’re looking to start a discipline in the local area, I implore you to give Beast Fight Team a try. The coaches are such affable guys – so too are the students – and it’s evident that they’re passionate about martial arts. A massive thank you for founding such a great club.”

- Sam Mclennan

“It’s always a little bit nervy walking into a new gym to train but a friend and I popped into the BJJ class and were immediately welcomed onto the mat. This was a great BJJ experience, rolling with great guys got some good round in with their local guys, if you’re in the area, 100% drop in, you’ll have a good sesh!”

- Jaspall B

“Such an awesome experience, not only is the training high level, the people are amazing. I walked in 10 years ago and haven’t trained anywhere else since! I recommend anyone, at any level, to come and join us.”
